You know that sad moment, when you put on your favorite pair of shoes only to notice a big stain on them? Or while putting on your favorite pair of boots, and for some reason the zipper won’t work? Don’t get stressed, here are some easy shoe hacks that will save your life from this painful incidents!  

  1. Nail file for suede heels

Is your swede heels bothering you with stains?  Don’t worry.. This tip will help you out.. Simply rub any nail file against the stained part and the stains will disappear within minutes to seconds depending on the stain. 

  1. Vinegar for leather

Are you one of those unfortunate people who have a giant water stain on your leather boots? Are you scratching the stain with your beautiful nails? STOP! Instead dip a tooth brush in some vinegar and gently scrub it away. This trick will instantly remove the vigorous water stain.

  1. Lotion works as shoe polish

Have an urgent meeting and you don’t have access to your boot polish? Don’t you worry, you can simply apply some lotion or face cream on your shoes and rub it all over with a soft towel. That will do the trick. Enjoy!

  1. Orange peel for bad odor 

One of the best ways to get rid of a bad shoe odor is to leave orange peels inside the shoe overnight. The fruit will absorb the unwanted germs leaving a fruity smell behind in the morning. You will be amazed by the outcome next morning!

  1. Fix zippers with petroleum jelly

That moment when you are trying to zip up your boots but it is stuck, is totally solvable! We have all seen our grandparents fixing the zip using candle wax to fix the zip. You can also just dip a cotton bud in petroleum jelly and lather up the sides of the zipper. It will slide right up. TADAAA!
